Your Zurich connection
Start from your Zurich hotel, home, office or Zurich Airport, or arrange the reverse journey from Zermatt / Täsch to Zurich. Give the exact addresses for both ends. For an airport collection, include the flight; for a city pickup, use the guest entrance and your preferred collection time. A day return with a waiting chauffeur and a separate one-way return require different arrangements, so specify which you want.
Plan the transfer boundary
A conventional private-car transfer is normally arranged to Täsch, with onward travel to Zermatt organised separately. Confirm your handover point and how your hotel expects you to arrive. Do not assume a road vehicle can collect you at every Zermatt address.
Coordinate luggage
A ski holiday may involve large cases and several equipment bags. Decide how these will be handled at the transfer point before travel. If you need luggage assistance, request it explicitly and have any additional arrangements confirmed.
The return journey
Give the chauffeur the road pickup location and the time you expect to reach it. Your hotel checkout time and the road pickup time are not necessarily the same. Allow for the onward connection from the village when planning an airport departure.
